ACCOMMODATIONS at WATERFRONT
The venue for the conference is the University of the Western Cape Campus (Robert Sobukwe Rd, Belhar 1, Cape Town, 7507, South Africa). This is estimated as a 30-minute drive from the accommodations the organizing committee proposes at the waterfront area. During the bus rides, we will provide some entertainment.
The Victoria & Albert Waterfront in Cape Town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Africa. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, it offers stunning views, a variety of shops and restaurants, and a busy calendar of events.
This is the area in which the hotels that are recommended are located, as it allows participants to explore Cape Town in the evenings and after the conference.
The parking at the Protea by Marriott Hotel Cape Town Waterfront Breakwater Lodge (just across the street from the Aquarium) is where we will provide bus pick-up and drop-off for any conference participant. All proposed hotels are withing walking distance (between 0.5 – 2.1 km walking), you can also use public transportation to get to the pick-up point.
All participants are required to do their own accommodation booking. We have negotiated disocunted prices for our participants which you can access by booking below.
If you wish to book accommodation elsewhere in Cape Town, you will be responsible for your transportation to and from the conference venue.

Booking Timeline
Rooms have been set aside specifically for the conference. In order to guarantee a room before the conference we suggest you book as soon as possible as rooms that are reserved for the conference will be released to public overtime. 90 days before the conference they will release half of the remaining rooms to the public. 60 days before the conference the remaining rooms will be released to the public. 30 days proper to the conference the all reserved rooms will be released to the public.

From date of booking to 30 days prior to arrival the fee is 1 nights deposit
30 days or less from arrival you will be responsible for the entire cost
