SNO Exchange at Ubuntu 2024


The Student Network Organization Exchange Program 2024 is in collaboration with The Network: TUFH at the UBUNTU 2024 conference! The conference will be in Cape Town, South Africa. In the leadup to the conference, we are organizing a community-oriented exchange program that will last for about two weeks in duration, before the conference and co-hosted by four institutions: University of the Western Cape; University of Cape Town; Stellenbosch University; Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

 

ONE international student will be selected to spend their time learning about rural and community health in South African communities, cultural norms and traditions, in addition to their local health systems, beliefs and habits.

 

Additionally, the selected student will be tutored and mentored to conduct a research study based on his/her preferences and based on the guidance of his/her assigned supervisor and their area of expertise.The exchange is intended specifically for undergraduate students, medical students or any other healthcare disciplines. The winner will be fully sponsored i.e. economic flight tickets, accommodation and stipend for daily expenses, as well as the registration and accommodation for UBUNTU 2024 conference. Past winners can not apply.
